A CD-ROM or DVD can be used as an excellent source for promotional marketing to advertise a company's specific brand or deliver an overall message. CDs and DVDs can also be used for multimedia presentations such as company meetings or at trade shows and conferences. The common goal is to deliver information into the hands of potential prospects so that you can generate more interest and bring greater exposure to your brand. CDs and DVDs are great way to present this information in a professional and affordable way. There are two main ways a CD or DVD can be reproduced: Duplication or Replication.

Short Run Duplication

If you require a small run of CDs or DVDs duplication is by far the better option. With no minimum quantities required you will find the price to be much more cost effective when compared to manufactured discs. Our duplication service features premium quality CD-R or DVD-R media for the best playback capabilities and includes a full color silk-screen or digital print process. Duplication also offers faster turnaround times and you get almost the same quality results as a manufactured disc.

Full size CDs or Compact Discs can be duplicated with as much as 700MB of data or approximately 80 minutes of audio. We use leading industry grade media to ensure you get the best bang for your buck and your discs are always consistent across all mediums. Matched with our on-disc full color print process, your discs are sure to leave a lasting impression when it gets into the hands of your audience. DVDs come in 3 different flavors: standard format with 4.7GB of data, Dual-layer with 8.4GB of data and dual-layer, double sided with approximately 16.94GB of data per disc. Whether you need a simple data disc or a full length movie with superior audio and video quality, our duplication service will certainly meet your expectations.

CD/DVD Replication

CD/DVD Replication covers the entire manufacturing process that makes an exact replica of your disc. It involves creation of a “glass master” from your original master that is then injection molded using polycarbonate substrates. Coda, Inc. provides complete replication services on all disc formats including CD-ROM, Audio CD, DVD (DVD-5, DVD-9, DVD-10) and DVD-ROM. Our replication service also includes full color silk-screen or offset printing. Disc replication is most ideal for high volume jobs and usually carries a longer turnaround time than duplication. Bulk discs often come packaged on a spindle and poly-sealed for added protection.

Additional Info

Master requirements:

• Coda requires a camera ready master to begin.
• Audio CD Text is done at your mastering facility. Please verify prior to getting started.
• We accept CD-R as your master for CD ROM, CD AUDIO, & VCD Replication.
• For an additional charge Coda can assist with development.

Coda includes electronic proofs. Hard copy proofs are additional. All quotations given by Coda, Inc. are to be regarded only as estimations. Your actual invoice may be different due to actual charges accrued during production/shipping.

When supplying artwork:

• Use correct file format (Tiff, Hi Res. PDF EPS) as output
• Resolution should be at 350 for grayscale (175lpi min.)…300 dpi for bitmap (175lpi min.)
• Provide all high-resolution files that are a part of your design
• Make sure the files are layered with bleeds of 1/8”
• Supply final artwork with all fonts used during design or outline the fonts
• Please send Coda the final approved camera ready version
• Provide a sample print out of how the file will need to print

Preflight:

Includes 15 minutes of graphics time to ensure files are to Coda specifications, & to generate your PDF proof. If more than 15 minutes are required to fix the files Coda will contact you to advise of the problems. If Coda is advised to fix the problem the charge will be $75.00 per hour. We include one PDF proof. If a 2nd proof is requested due to changes on the clients end there may be a $30.00 proof charge.

What to expect within the first 72 hours of getting started with Coda, Inc.

• All setup paper work, master, & artwork due by day zero by noon
• A 50% deposit is required prior to getting started
• A PDF proof of your artwork will be sent electronically via e-mail
